Description:
With the IT Tool Comic Master students can create their own comic or short graphic novel. The application is fairly easy to use with a drag-and-drop function to add backgrounds, layouts, characters and props that appear in the scene. Further one can add dialogue, captions and effets (like WOW, BAM!) to narrate the story. The design is simple and graphics are colourful in classic comic style. Teachers can use this too to practice storytelling, creativity, and other skills with their students. A downside was that students could not customize comics with uploaded photos, there are only a limited number of characters (total of 4) and other visual elements which may not maintain the interest of users for long. Students have to enter an email address and password to register if they want to save their cartoon creations to pdf. http://www.comicmaster.org.uk/
